      LORD WHAT DO WANT ME TO DO?

Nothing transform people like a right question does.

I guess you are very conversant with this question and the story of the man who ask this question.

In case you don't know him, it was Saul. This  question was the beginning of his transformation.

The answer he got from that questions was to

 " Arise and go into the city and you will be told what  you must do"

The shocking thing about this was that by the time Saul arose up to go, when he opened his eyes he wasn't able to see again.

So, Saul spent three days without sight and food.

Don't forget the Bible said his eyes were open, but he has no sight. Pause to think about that for a minute.

Someone once said that " The worstest thing that could happen to a man is to have eyes but without sight." 

Over this years as a leadership expert I have seen People, organizations, families, communities and Nations who have  LEADERS  but without VISION.

These leaders have the position, power, chrisma, great followers, yet not VISION.

Yes! people can follow a leader because of sentiment, and relationship, not necessarily because  he has a vision. 

 It  happened also to the children of Israel in the wilderness. Going roundabout,  one mountains for years. They were making effort everyday yet no progress.

 Their eyes were open yet they couldn't see that they were in the same spot. They were having leaders who couldn't sense that they were still in the same spot. Leaders who couldn't ask the Lord what do want us to do we are just going round one mountain every day.

Assuming  asking  a Taxi driver to drop you at  the airport you don't know yourself. Then after four hours of driving, you find out that you guy are still in the same location. 

How would you feel?  You see, if  you are nott careful you might miss your flight. Ooooh yes they all missed their flight to the promise Land except  for the transformed ones.

A new crop of people were raised by God to enter the promise Land. Just as a new Paul raised to preach the gospe , after three days of no food and sight.

Most time transformation stage come with a bad experiences. Something most people don't want but need. 

No food, no sight, staying in the dark. 

For Saul it was just three days, that is Grace.

Our nation is celebrating 60th independent with no food , and darkness. Although her eyes are open but no sight. Staying in the same spot like the nation Israel in the wilderness.

 Nigeria, has resources both human and natural resources to give her food ,water, road, education, electricity and take her from this gross darkness, but yet no leaders to help her to get to her destination. 

Someone said #Nigeria is too rich to be poor and too poor to be rich".

Saul got his transformation so quickly because he ask the Lord that question.

It's high time for us as a nation to ask the same question. Most of our  leaders are confused pretending to know.

 Now look at what happened to Saul, the men he was leading to Damascus now became the ones leading him to get to his destination of transformation. Don't forget their mission, they were on a journey to persecute the Church. 

Now they have no VISION, their leader has already lost his sight.  The Lord want them to start a new journey.

 A  different journey  were their leader can get a new  sight ( a new Vision). 

This happened immediately the their leader saul ask the amazing question.

The finally got the answer,  Saul eyes were open and the Lord gave him a new VISION'. This time not to persecute but help to Save.

Saul was transformed and  became a chosen vessel.

As Nigeria clock 60, personal I want you to ask. Lord what do you want me to do to help myself, family, community, Local government, State and Nigeria.

I strongly believe the Lord is about to do something great, I see him raising a new crop of visionary leaders for our great country Nigeria.

I am thanking God for you, to have read to this point is a sign you are one of these great transforming Leaders the Lord is raising.
